*Update, went and smashed that wall and completed my first run of week 9! Thanks so much for all the motivation and tips!*
Things had been going great so far, until week 8. Until now I had finished every single run without stopping. Then ended up ending the first 2 week 8 runs at around 15 to 20 mins!
Maybe I needed a week off I thought, so I have taken a week off but this Friday still struggled to get past 15 mins and ended it early! I'm not sure why, maybe its the cold weather? I tried running slower too. Now I'm struggling to find the motivation and I really don't want to quit having gotten this far. I'm sure its probably a mental block but if anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Even writing this post has helped motivate me a little.

Let's get over, under or around that wall RunnerFive you can do it
Hello, I'm about to go into week 4, do you remember that? Im worrying about being able to run for 5 minutes successfully 😅 I obviously don’t know what you are aiming for in week 8 But I just wanted to show you how far you have come in the last few weeks, the only advice I know to give is go much slower and persistence is the name of the game, and just keep going with one foot in front of the other, some people repeat weeks perhaps that might work too, good luck
I felt the same going into Week 4, a lot of nerves about 5 minutes considering 90 seconds was a big push when that came up, but then Sanjeev said "run", I ran, and I did it! From the sounds of it you don't need much encouragement, as you've already got a really healthy outlook, but if you do need any more, you can do it!
Hi RunnerFive. Don’t be downhearted. I would just slow down even more. I find listening to something motivating helps too - by concentrating on what’s being said I don’t notice the time so much! Before you know it, job done. Good luck - you can do it 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️.
Sometimes it just gets like that. Just keep going. Slow down more. It’ll click back into place very soon. I usually only have a couple of runs like that in a row. But they make the good ones sweeter. Make sure you’re hydrating plenty the day before a run. Happens to us all.
The weather will make it harder, even if you're going slower it's still harder. I did a couple of runs recently that were slower, due to the very cold temperatures and strong winds, yes my pace was slower, but the majority of these runs was also in the peak zone. Usually I do that pace and all my run would be in the cardio zone. So you have to be kind to yourself and go even slower, you may think it's not possible, but it is!. You've got to week 8, so you can do this. We're with you 😊
