CR19 45 minutes and first (not)parkrun

Did it. My first 5K.

43:43. That was something like I'd hoped for. Might have been a shade quicker if I could sort my fat fingers out on my timer. But if I had gone under 43 minutes I might have thought my timer was wrong.

Very pleased.

I input my time on the (not)parkrun site.

I now have a baseline to consolidate and maybe build on.

Very chuffed.

Oh and carried on to 5.14K in 45 minutes.

Well done for your first 5K 👏👏👏 it’s such a milestone run, giving a great sense of achievement. As you say, a baseline maybe to build on, but it was many weeks before I improved on my first 5K time, which was longer than yours 😊

Actually carried on for45 minutes but only after I realised after 5K that the aim was 45 minutes so the last minute or so was slow. However- very happy.
