43:57. Not bad for me and a lot (50 seconds) faster than last week plus it was my slightly harder route.

Lots of fair weather runners out today!

I tried to look for the shade today , as it was quite warm with the sun out. What a difference to last weekend! Not quite Texas temperature variance but still! I am not complaining about the sun!

Odd to think that I thought it would be my slowest so I wasn't really going for a quick one whereas it was only 35 seconds off my fastest and 22 seconds off my fastest for this route. So that was a mini bonus.

I am on my journey to 60 minutes and thsi 5K was during my over 55 minute run (again) this week. Next week will be 60 minutes, plus I will try to hold myself back for another week so I can reach 7K, and thus celebrate two milestones on consecutive weekends.

I did nearly 6.5K today. That is still mad when I sit here typing that. Me - I ran 4 miles!!! Yes 4 miles - I did it and next week I will be running over an hour. On 9 September I nearly vomitted after 1 minute!

Another Brucey (RIP) bonus: I seem to be losing 2 lb per month by running - I could lose some more if biscuits tasted of marmite.

Well done Rennur! Especially on a slightly harder route. I love marmite, and I love biscuits. But the 2 combined? No! Happy running 🏃‍♂️👍👏🏼.

Great progress. I smiled at the thought of you seeking out the shade... and your plan to stage your milestones over multiple weekends. Check the confidence there!!
