Back to C25K!

Just a gentle return, I did a Week 1 last week and a Week 2 jogette today. Very muddy in the woods so took it very slow and steady. Going to move on to Week 3 on Wednesday and if that feels comfortable, onto Week 4. It feels strange going back to intervals but I'm enjoying hearing Michael Johnson's words of encouragement again! Happy running, folks and hope not too muddy on your routes. ☺

I am so happy for you that you have returned to running, you are now rerunning week two of C25K, you ask regarding muddy routes, well I bought expensive running shoes after a gait analysis earlier in the year, I have found new tarmac routes nearby to where I live and will be running there, not on the very muddy routes I have been running around recently,

Thanks all, feels great to be back. And I forgot to mention that I was wearing my brand new long-sleeved running top - I treated myself as getting too chilly for vests!

Fantastic and delighted to hear your back. It’s much easier mentally coming back than going through it all the first time. Enjoy and happy running. You’ll be 100% in no time ready for the new 2020 running season.

Well done - I bought a new top yesterday, and plan on getting some decent shoes if I complete W4. Shopping is a side bonus 😉

Well done on getting back out there. Trees, no traffic to talk of (I guess) nature - nice as in very. Good luck.

Great that you're back in the game, hope your back behaves itself from now on. I have already booked Scotland again for next summer, I loved it so much...

Think I’ll be joining you after 3 weeks out with injury but it’s comforting to go back I think?

It is a great way to ease back in, and wonderful to realise that although I have definitely lost some fitness, it's soooo much easier than when I started back in March! Hope you're back running soon. ☺
