I set out this afternoon in my final run of 2020. I am normally a morning runner but it was a really heavy frost do I thought I'd wait for it to thaw a bit... Hey...check out that phrase-"I"and "runner" in the same sentence π€©π who'd have thunk it!
I embarked on the session with a positive attitude and with a mindset that I could go as slow as I wanted. My last few runs have ended up too fast and then I've been out of synch and not enjoyed it so much. I forgot to start my watch until I'd been walking for about a minute but no worries.
The weather was glorious. Many of the village residents were out enjoying the crisp sunshine. There was no wind so no freezing ears.
I had been getting frustrated about the BPM of my music but today, I just enjoyed it and didn't try to run to any beat in particular, just a steady comfortable pace. I didn't want to run without any music.
The beauty of my surroundings took over and I opened up my phone's camera. I was snapping shots here and there, hoping to to have too much blur as I didn't want to stop. I managed to get a number of lovely ones and have posted a few.
I am wondering if I'll be ready for the 30 mins after only one more 28 min run but I'm staying positive and I'm sure it's achievable.
Happy new year to all you lovely people. Thanks for all the advice and support. Can't wait to be smashing this couch to 5k in the first week of the new year. What a great start to what I hope is a fabulous 2021 for everyone π€©ππ₯°ππΌββοΈπͺπ»π€π₯³π₯³π₯³
