This morning I had an unexpected run after managing to get the day off work at short notice. I thought I'd use a bit of the time to complete week 7 as it's been niggling me a bit that I've deferred a couple of days due to juggling Christmas and work commitments.
I have not massively over indulged but i most certainly haven't hydrated correctly or fuelled up properly over the past few days which I am thinking might have contributed to the fact I found this run so hard.
The app stopped twice too, which saw me adding maybe two or three extra minutes running. It's a shame as the weather was beautiful, maybe a bit windy at times but not gale force it anything.
Anyway, I've now completed week 7, not how I wanted to feel, but I've done it even so. I'm going to put that struggle behind me, think positively and get ready to start on week 8 on Tuesday.

I certainly felt heavy when running yesterday. Definitely not enough hydration after splitting a bottle of wine and having a couple of glasses of port on Christmas Day.
Yes, my alcohol consumption has definitely increased too and I've missed meals with work being so busy. Fingers crossed. We all have bad days don't we 🤪
Thank you. That's what I keep telling myself 🤩 Yes, I am very lucky to have a village to run in with a circuit around the back of it... I do have to make sure I check behind me tho, ha ha. I had both ear phones in the other day and a tractor was behind me trying to get past 🙈🙉
Well done for getting out there and completing it! I did W7R2 today and also struggled. My legs felt really heavy and it felt like a real chore. Couldn't wait to be finished tbh. Proud I did it though. Hopefully the next one will be better for both of us 🤞 xx
