Finally finished wk7. Have to say it takes me about 10 mins in before I feel “comfortable “ if that’s the right word.

Anyway, tried the STRAVA app for the first time to see how far I’d run. Absolutely gutted to see it was only 2.1km!!!

Then I put my glasses on and saw that this was miles not km! Duh!! So it’s about 3.4 km.

For me it’s not so much about the distance, I just want to be able to go out and run when I want, where I want and I’ll prob never do a 5k.

If anyone could tell me how to change the app from miles to km I’d appreciate it!

Have a great day everyone- looks like it’s going to be a goodun!

Hi, glad you are using Strava, it’s a great app! On an iphone, If you look in the settings button along the bottom, you will see ‘units of measurement. Good luck

Well done.

That first ten minutes is known as the toxic ten and there are good scientific reasons for it.

Well done! I cant see anything on a screen without my glasses so have to wait til I'm in the car to see how far I've run!

5km is a long way off for me. Am just enjoying being able to run. But maybe one day....!
