Week 7 completed!!!

I can’t say it was easy, I’m still unsure how I’ll manage the extra 3 minutes for week 8 but that said, 7 weeks ago 90 seconds made me anxious!

6 runs til graduation 🎓 feels amazing, don’t think I’ve ever completed anything in my life!!

They are so bouncy, i love them!!

I did get pins & needles in my toes at about 9 minutes, but I wore my running socks which I don’t think I needed to, it soon went away thou and I got my fastest pace to date - so big grins for the rest of the evening!!

They sound fab! Amazing how new shoes can literally put a spring in your step!! Think I’ve read on here that pins and needles might be something as simple as having your shoes laced too tight? Could be worth experimenting with your knots?! Hark at me, the expert (not!)

Have learnt so much from this forum.

That would make sense, the shop said I should have size 6.5 (shoes normally 5) and I was worried they’d slip so did the laces up tighter than I would normally! I didn’t need to, they fit like a glove..... x

Are you using the 2nd eye and loop technique to prevent your foot slipping forward into the toe box.🤔

If not just google it, plenty demo’s on tying method.

Sounds good with one and half larger.Just happen to be the same.

Good tip in getting fitted, go afternoon, because your feet swell in the course of the day as we use them.👍

Well done you are doing great.🌟👏👏
