My phone updated just before my run and it seemed Laura didn't like it so she abandoned me halfway through the warm up walk. I put some music on and thought I'd just run to where I stopped last time and that would be ok. I was just getting to the tree where my 25 mins finished on R2 and suddenly I felt this great burst of energy and for some reason I just carried on. I remember reading a great post on here where someone says their legs seemed not to be attached to their body anymore and they just ran by themselves. Is this mental or physical, or both? Is it because I finally took the advice Oldfloss gave me and did some excercises on my rest day?! I don't know, but it's an amazing feeling!! I stopped and found 30 mins and 3.9km on the running app, and I felt fantastic. Hoping this is not just a one off? Is this what happens as we build up our stamina? If this is the feeling we can get sometimes, then all those moments of slogging through the 3 mins, 5 mins and all the rest, are SO worth it. 7 weeks ago I was struggling with 60 seconds, maybe C25K really is magic?
W7R3 - something magic happened...: My phone... - Couch to 5K

It is and so are you, amazing progress well done
Yes, it is the magic. Robot legs, the running zone and why we love running 😄...
Sounds like a super run siobhp...its great when your breathing regulates and it feels so comfortable.
Oldfloss knows her stuff do as she suggests, keep up the exercises, start your runs nice and slowly, and maybe take extra rest days between runs now...
Enjoy your finishing straight..you are almost at the podium now.😊x
Yes, yes and yes.... you found what I call , our Happy Pace Where the newly found running legs just carry you along
Absolutely great post.. well done you.. and well done for those exercises too..keep it up and go you!!!
It is like magic, but it all comes down to the chemical balances in our amazing bodies. All the work you've done means that your body is working more efficiently and the right chemicals are triggering the right responses.
Of course, the endorphins make it all feel worthwhile.
Keep running, keep smiling.
Oh that is such a great and weird feeling.
It seemed really weird when I got it a few weeks back. Like the legs were not mine. I could see them but not feel them. It was like I was getting a piggy back.
I’ll carry on running now every week just in the hope that I get that magical buzz once more as all of the planets aligned and, as you do fantastically put it, it just sort of happens.
It’s great isn’t it.
Enjoy the journey.
Ah it was you whose legs weren't attached to your body?! I thought it was but wasn't sure. It was strange and amazing, didn't last that long but definitely will keep me running to try and get that feeling back!
