Only gone and done it!

At 53yo, and full of arthritis, never thought I’d complete this when my 20 year my senior daughter in law, suggested doing C25K.

IVE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!

To everyone else who’s not sure, go for it. I’ve lost loads of weight and feel much better. Not quite the 30 minute time (best of 33) but who cares!

Thank you C25K

Well done, that's fantastic! I too am 53 with very poorly knees. They are really starting to struggle with the longer runs of week 6 and I'm having to take two rest days in between runs. But if you can do it, so can I! Thank you for sharing your success story 😀

Thank you! You will do it. At week 6 I thought it was impossible. Don’t give up. Go for distance and not time. Good luck!

Well done - huge achievement when you have knackered knees ⭐👊🏅

Thank you so much. Funnily (😳) enough, my knackered neck and shoulders ache more than my knackered knees, ankles, hips ... 🤣🤣

Very well done Vicky! It's great to conquer a challenge and even more rewarding when you know you have arthritis to cope with too. I have osteo arthritis in lower back and was worried that it would prevent my running, but after a quick chat with my doctor, decided to just run and see how I got on. It hasn't made it any worse, and some days feel easier than pre running. So congratulations and I look forward to hearing your continued progress and achievements, which might also bring about improvement with the arthritis for you too.

Best wishes ☺️
