This morning was my graduating run, which I did at Bromley Parkrun. My time.........29.42.
I started C25K in July and like everyone else found the very first run extremely hard going, but I soon got the running bug. I can't quite believe that not only can I run 5K, but can do it in just under 30mins.

That's amazing. Congratulations on such a fantastic achievement. I'm following your lead and am planning on completing my C25K by graduating at my local Parkrun, (it's an unofficial one but they're trying to get Parkrun status) although I will not do it in under 30 minutes!! Anyway enjoy your graduation
Start wk 8 tomorrow and planning my first Parkun next Saturday. Won't be my graduation run, but if get ok next saturday, the following week will be! Well Done BettyJane on your achievement. I don't think I will be any where near your time though!
My first parkrun was at the start of week 8, I've taken a few extra rest days lately due to sore knee. It's good to be doing a different run, plus my parkrun is very level and mostly on grass.
Fantastic!!! Congratulations on graduating and getting under that 30 min 5k.
I'll be at Bromley Park Run next week with the hope of a PB (I might just be able to slip under 34 mins!) as they normally have pacers out in the first saturday of the month.
Brilliant and congratulations Bettyjane. What a fabulous time too!. I can't wait to do my first Park Run. Reading blogs like yours gives a week 6er like me such encouragement to go on, many thanks Jx
