Today after work I did week 2 run 1. It went... well it went ok but the first runs I was sooner out of breath then I had hoped, despite being a snail. The last 2 runs though went better and it felt as if my body was getting used to it.
Weather was nice, didn't take my jacket, but wore a thin shirt with a fleece running shirt over. A bit chilly at first, but soon after a run or 2 it felt good. The weather will be most difficult for me as winter will come. We don't get extremely low temps, but still. I easily get cold. So let's see how it will proceed.
Despite kinda disliking running, I still look forward to the next run 😁
Well done on completing run 1 of week 2, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 2.
Trust me, by week 5 you'll be roasting hot by the end!Starting off is always hard. Just read what experienced runners talk about the toxic ten. You have to break through the opening interval runs and go slowly (sorry for the repeats) then you will have energy for the end.
