Thank you all so much for the encouragement last week. I completed the first weeks runs on Tuesday. I don't know why but I had a real dip in confidence about starting week 2 and put it off, worried I wouldn't manage. Well I have just been out and achieved the first run of week 2 with no issues, infact I think I found it a little easier than week 1. I am determined to keep going and all of you on this forum are so inspiring which keeps me motivated.
Week 2 R1: Thank you all so much for the... - Couch to 5K
Week 2 R1
Great stuff! You’ll continue to surprise yourself, week by week. Well done on overcoming the lack of confidence too. Each little success supports the next, and when - as most of us do - you have a bad day, oh well , just mark it as a practice session. Best wishes.
Well done to you Dancingqueen70(you have got the same username as Abba's Dancing Queen hit of the same name) on completing week 1 and run 1 of week 2 of C25K, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to.
Oh well done! Pretty sure we've all had our doubts about whether we can do it! But as GailX says you'll surprise yourself! It's awesome and truly a magic programme, just trust it and yourself. I still surprise myself after nearly six months! Go us! 🏃🏃♀️😄
Well done, if you look back at all of our posts we’ve all started from the same point- unfit and new to running- so keep going- we made it to the end and so can you- it may not always be enjoyable when actually running it but you will start to see the difference in you physical fitness very soon- good luck x
You are amazing, Dancingqueen70. Keep up the great work!!!
Just keep going and we are all cheering you on, we’ve all been there and trust in the plan it does work
Hi there, well done you for getting back out there...many of us suffer from lack of confidence at times, for whatever reason...but good on you for overcoming this. And what's really great...you found it a little easier than week 1. Keep that good feeling with you for your next run, and take it slow and steady. And don't beat yourself up if a run doesn't go as well as you hoped for....that happens to every single one of us! Keep going...you're doing amazing...truly... Where would you rather be.....on that couch? Or proving to yourself you're a winner 😁😁😁. 🦌🐌🐢🏃♀️🙋
