Week 2 reloaded

Well that's week 2 out of the way and I found it easier than the first week which seemed stunted and really didn't seem to get going, but I know for most people it can be the first time they have run in years, I take my hat off to all you first weekers.

The wind let up a little but rain took it's place and I looked on enviously at 'proper' runners with their spandex pants whilst all I had was my shorts and red raw pegs.

My runs are usually preceded by a 3 mile dog walk and my feet and ankles are really feeling it at the moment but we are determined aren't we lowbie weekers!?

Best of luck to you all whatever stage you're at and look forward to giving you another update at the end of week 3.

erm you are just as much a runner as anyone :) as for the running tights, far as I am concerned a must :)

The wind and rain are "character building" haha

Or free resistance training :)

Well done on completing week 2 :)

Well done - you must be hardy, braving the elements in shorts!

Not much for Spandex anyway :)

The ubiquitous shorts are really a useful garment... but in this weather? Go you!!!!!!

Hi.

Have you tried running with your dog?

Running is good for them too (and the ejoy it even more than we do) ;)

Brrr! Sounds like you could do with getting some running trousers. Doesn't have to be Spandex though ;) I have some Ronhill tracksters which I love. Not so close fitting but I find they blow dry a lot better than the running tights which can leave your little leggies a bit stiff and cold in prolonged wind and rain. Though better than shorts I would imagine! Plus they're very reasonably priced. Got mine for about a tenner!

Other than that. Very well done! :)
