First post on here and it’s really reassuring to hear people’s accounts of their experience.
I started on week 1 back in the first week of March. I completed it with a lot of struggle but was feeling positive. Then I contracted covid-19 and had to stop.
I was feeling really dejected starting again in the last week so I jumped into week 2 and although I find myself pushing myself to the absolute max to get through it, I am feeling positive.
I can’t quite see how I’m going to be able to run for longer but maybe I’ll surprise myself.
Question, I only ever listen to Jo Wiley, does anyone have other positive experiences of listening to someone else? I need someone reassuring.

Glad you have recovered from the virus. Bet that must have been a worrying time! My trainer is Sarah Millican. She is very reassuring and I like that she sometimes says ‘Well done Pet’ 😂 I also listen to music but on a couple of occasions have been so caught up in it that I haven’t noticed cars waiting for me to move in so they can pass. Whoops!
Well done for getting back, you've had an eventful month 😱
If getting through week 2 was so tough after your illness, it may be a good idea to repeat the week, or start again at week 1 to give your body time as it recovers.
Oh and Michael Johnson for me every time, he's so reassuring.
I loved Jo, she was like running with a mate: “I KNOW how you’re feeling, I’ve been there”. But I hear great things about all the trainers, so maybe try different ones for a few runs and see who you prefer. Enjoy the rest of your journey!
