Just finished my second ever run and although it’s very early days I’m feeling really good! I made a real effort to keep in mind all of the tips that people gave me on my previous post and they really helped.
I focussed hard on my breathing which made a big difference both physically and psychologically - I had more energy and it distracted me from thinking about the difficulty of it all 😂
I also think I started too fast last time, I was knackered after one run 😂 so this time I made a conscious effort to slow down and I feel like I found the right pace for me 😊 I even had some energy to spare at the end!
I’m really looking forward to my third run now! I’m apprehensive about what lies beyond that but I’m gonna cast those fears aside take it one run at a time 😊 more tips are welcome! Thanks for all the advice and support you’ve already given me! 😊

You are getting on very well indeed HexGirl, learning all the time about technique regarding tips and breathing, well done on running runs 1 and 2 of week 1 of C25K, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water the day before you run and some before to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 1. 😊 🏃🏾 You say more tips are welcome, good advice is NOT to look ahead at future weeks or runs, wait for the instructions from your coach before you run. 🏃🏾 👍
