Well it was definitely better than the first one mainly because I didn't go out dressed for winter and didn't use the armband for my phone so felt less self conscious. I do need to get prepared at night though as had to run with a damp sports as not sorted anything out all weekend. Starting to think about what to wear this weekend as needed to keep yanking my old baggy leggings up and a faded t-shirt kept rolling up! A bit of online shopper my might be needed 😊
All the positive messages on here after my first run definitely made me run today after aching on Saturday and most of Sunday to I wasn't sure if I would do today but thinking about the messages and the people that had took time to reply to me made me push through and do it.
Looking forward to Wednesday now 😊

Clothing is a real problem isn't it? You need to feel comfortable, you don't want to be cold but you might get hot while you are walking/ running. It's an issue I haven't thought about much but is there to sort out. I wonder what others wear and how they solve the problems .
I wish I had taken my bob hat this morning.. my ears were freezing!
Looking forward to running. Bet you never thought you would say that. Well done for persevering.
Well done on persevering especially in damp clothes - that says a lot about your commitment. MrsT82 has an incentive fund deal for envy km a £1 goes in the kitty for new running kit.... Worth a go if you can to get all that nice sexy new kit. P.s. Rules of the forum - new kit always has to have a pic, so we can drool.
Well done framp ! We really have all been there. I kept my running secret for the first 3 weeks and tried to plot a route avoiding going past houses of friends or family friends so people don't spot me.
I still feel self conscious on the walking sections but try to trust the plan and ignore the gremlins.
I picked up some cheap gear from a supermarket which I run in for now. Might upgrade when the weather changes.
Great job on getting out there. We're all behind you cheering you on.
