I was out of the door this morning by 7am and immediately heading into a fierce wind. Glad I only headed out in leggings and t shirt - it most definitely was not long sleeve or jacket running weather! My strategy to take it steady and not try to beat any previous times was definitely a good plan given the wind.
I hit the same route as my last run and the minutes ticked by nicely and without any struggle, 30mins was done ✅ Felt good!!
Apart from me selecting the wrong playlist and ending up with 4 tracks back to back of Depeche Mode greatest hits followed by Lionel Ritchie randomly popping up with “Dancing on the Ceiling”, and feeling a bit annoyed at random music situ 🙄 all was well on this penultimate run of the plan and I felt strong and steady. Bring on Run 3 on Thurs and graduation 🏃♀️ Wowzers!!!

Thanks SD! It really was more enjoyable today and I didn't overdo it which is clearly the key and it meant I felt I could've gone on at the end of the 30mins, I mean..I'll take that! How are you doing? Are you sitting things out for a few more days to be sure of your ankles?
That's the key to gazelle running 🦌🤣 Start steady and then push a little during the run if you feel you've got the legs for it.
Still resting up 😩 although I have made steady improvements in the past couple of days (lots of RICE). 🤞 I'm thinking of trying a test run tomorrow morning - it might not be an official run as I'm not not sure I should push it with a full 30 minutes but I'd like to try a shorter test run (I might rerun W6R2 to see how it holds up).
Good luck for Thursday - I'm sure you'll smash it 💪💥
Thanks! After the run today, I do feel raring to go. If you'd asked me after Run 1 on Friday I might not have had the same answer!! Just hope I can keep it up for my grad run
