Wow, well it wasn’t as scary as I expected! It’s a cold night and I ran a little later than usual - 11pm. A bit stiff for the first 90s run and the first 3 minute stint wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. The whole session was quite short and the last run quite invigorating - I’m feeling it now that I’m back home!
Soundtrack was the live concert Dire Straits did in Sydney in ‘86 - the Thank You Australasia show that ended their tour. I was a kid in New Zealand when it aired live. It’s nice to run to semi-continuous music rather than worrying about skipping tracks. I’ll probably put a proper playlist together at some point. Looking forward to the next one!

I think it's cool to run at any time but it's also necessary to establish the routine. Now that you're building up your program try and figure out some sort of consistency where your body will 'know' when you're running. No big deal just yet, but as you graduate you'll probably want to explore different avenues and training for 10k at that time is not the best shot.
Your doing great, I can't run late it's just not my thing but scary was my park at 6 this morning where there is not so much as a lamppost in the place! 😂 Bits of it looked like a horror movie, no wonder I upped the pace! 😂😂😂
Well done on the W3R1 - I did my W3R1 yesterday (although at 8am in the morning) and agree that it didn't actually feel as scary as I thought it would! I had visions of me collapsing into a heap after the first 3 minute run but the head bobbing advice that Sarah M was giving me meant the cows in the field alongside my run were my target audience
