Week 1 run 3

So I went to bed feeling positive for this one, I was looking forward to getting it done ๐Ÿ˜€

However I woke up to what sounded like a gale outside, had a peep out the window and low and behold the rain was coming down and trees looked like they had lost the will to live ๐Ÿ˜‚

This wasnโ€™t going to stop me, shorts on, shoes on and out the door ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I was wondering what Iโ€™m doing as Iโ€™m starting my warm up walk while the wind was giving me a beating ๐Ÿ˜‚

The weather may have been testing me but actually it wasnโ€™t to bad, I got it done with a greater sense of achievement given the conditions ๐Ÿ˜€

Bring on week 2 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Welcome to the determined (and occasionally soggy) band of all-weather runners!

I certainly soggy and wind swept this morning, at times Iโ€™m sure my feet didnโ€™t touch the ground ๐Ÿ˜‚

Well done for getting out in the bad weather. I prefer the soggy to the hot runs tbh!

Good luck for week 2, sounds like you're determined ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜€ I havenโ€™t had the pleasure of a hot run yet so time will tell ๐Ÿ˜‚ the soggy ones arenโ€™t to bad, my first run was a wet one so I guess it was only fitting the first week ended the same ๐Ÿ˜€

Very determined, had a bit of wake up call handed to me, which has kicked me into action, which Iโ€™m really enjoying ๐Ÿ˜€

Hahaha I avoid the hot ones like the plaque. It only intensifies the beetroot look ๐Ÿคฃ

Nothing like a wake up call to get you going ๐Ÿ˜ Mine was the 40's hitting and holding back the years for as long as I could lol! Good for you for doing something about it ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ˜‚ donโ€™t fancy looking like a beetroot,, the huffing and puffing is bad enough ๐Ÿ˜‚ going to try and stick to early morning runs ๐Ÿ‘

Mine happened at 41, it could turn out to be the best thing to happen me, time will tell ๐Ÿ˜‚ it made me do some self assessing and make some adjustments in my life one of them is to be a lot healthier than I was. Hence the running ๐Ÿ˜€

I think change is a good thing alot of the time. Everything happens for a reason and all that. A chance to be how you want to be can only be a plus ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Š

Go for it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
