From 60 to 3978 seconds !

Fourteen months ago when I started C25K I really struggled with the 60 second runs in week 1, I honestly thought I would never get to the point where I would run comfortably for 60 seconds, never mind the 30 mins non-stop. Fast forward 14 months and lots of consolidation runs later, I ran yesterday for 66mins 18 seconds non-stop or in other words 3978 seconds (or 10k). It’s crazy to think that this programme has taken me from being out of breath in 60 seconds to running for over an hour!

So for everyone out there in the early stages of C25K, believe in yourself, don’t let the mental gremlins get to you as you really can do this and you will be amazed what you can achieve post C25K, just keep running.....

Awesome stuff! 10k seems a long way off for me but it is a goal. Shooting for 5k now though, just starting week 8.

I always thought 10k would be impossible, but just build up to it slowly lever time, from whatever distance you finish C25K on ! Good luck
