What a difference a day makes!! After such a struggle earlier in the week I was dreading today. But found some good music, got the trainers on and set off! Really enjoyed myself despite the rain, was so different from run 1. It occurred to me after my last run that I had only had 1 cup or tea and 1 cup of coffee to drink that whole day (thatβs what happens when you work for the NHs!) Today I really made a effort to keep hydrated all day and it clearly helped. Anyway looking forward to next run πββοΈ

Well done.
Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

I totally agree: now that we wear masks all day I forget to drink my fluids even more then before! Yesterday, I was bringing a cup to my lips with my mask still on π€¦πΎββοΈπ

Well done! A lot of similarities as I too did week 6 run 2 yesterday and I also work for the NHS haha! Yes water definitely makes a big difference in our running ability. Good luck on run 3
