Couch 2 5K completed. Wasn't anywhere near hitting 5k in 30 minutes so on my final run i decided to run 5k regardless of how long it took me and I did it! Me.............I ran 5K! Unbelievable! Thanks for everyone's comments previously, it really helped get through the programme!

Congratulations Kat1e on graduating from C25K, you should be very proud of yourself'

To get your graduation badge and the word graduate next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the Healthunlocked September graduate Homepage and tell the administrators that you have ran run 3 of week 9 and graduated.

Congratulations Kat1e_ - I note that your "graduate" badge has already and well deservedly been applied! I really wouldn't worry about the "5k in 30 minutes" thing - it'll come when it comes (at my local Parkrun I was still only getting round in about 40 mins pre-Covid). The important thing now is to focus on consolidation... and a celebratory cake 😁.

Very well done to you! 🏆

How long did it take you to do the 5K then?

Ive done 5k twice now (but have a very painful calf as a result) last one took me 55 mins as my calf started hurting around the last 15 mins. I decided to keep going until I hit 5k as i didnt want my first one to be a fluke! I now realise that was probably a mistake. I know im slow but im still proud that i can now run 5k. Once ive had a few weeks doing it again and again, I'll start increasing my pace......hopefully! 👍

Well done! Rest that leg up, do some gentle stretching, make sure it's ok before you do another long run.

Slow and steady wins the day! Good luck in your future running. You've already done better than me. I have only ran 4km so far but on Friday I am determined to push on to 5km for the final run of W9R3.

Good luck, just keep going, if you need to do that last km at a slower pace then do it! You've done brilliantly! Just keep going! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
