Was looking forward to 28 minutes running today. It was foggy and a bit cool as I set off for my warm up walk but it helped make it good and brisk. Settled to my rhythm quite quickly and my music hit the spot.
I road run in quite a remote rural area, farmers were ploughing, geese settling on the fields and everything just clicked. From the bottom of my drive round the roads and to the next hamlet and back again is 4.6k. That includes the warm up and cool down walk. I almost started my cool down back where my warm up walk finished and it was my fastest time to date. Not that that is my goal. I just want to run for 30 mins x3 a week. And Iโm feeling really positive about doing it.
Tell that to the 13 year old me literally dragging herself round the 1500m race on sports day because โsomeoneโ volunteered me ๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ป๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Itโs a mental hurdle too isnโt it?

I am very lucky running round here, itโs such a great way to start the day. Hope I still feel the same once the clocks go back and the sugar beet harvest starts.
Hope to run again Wednesday morning, good luck to you too!
