Listening to music whilst running

I find listening to disco type music on my phone whilst running helps me. However when the commentator comes on to tell me to slow down or start my next run the music kinda drowns out their voice & I end up turning off tge music. Any advice would be very much appreciated

I had this problem. However, I found that if I put the music on first at a reasonable volume then go to C25K app and start your run - adjust the volume of the voice then while you are on the app. It seems to bring up the voice louder and when it cuts in its not drowned out by the music. It seems to work for me - give it a try.

Yes I did the same.. if you put the music on first then the 5k announcement will cut in over the music 😁

Don’t listen to Leonard Cohen🙁

Yep. That’ll do it too. I just put my iPhone music on shuffle and usually get a good selection. I was all gung-ho and downloaded some workout and running albums..... what was I thinking. Back in the USSR ... Going underground... were ok this morning.
