Is there anyone who has completed c25k following a dynamic hip screw being fitted? I am 55 y/o and graduated two years ago (the support from this forum was amazing). At my best I got up to 10k which for someone who had never run in their life and was overweight was a great achievement. Then late last year, I broke my hip cycling to work and had a DHS fitted. This week, I started week 1 again. I hear of people running after a full hip replacement but can't see anything about a DHS and just wondered if I need to be wary of anything.

Well done for coming back to it! That's brilliant. That must've been a nasty cycling accident - ouch! I'm afraid Ican't answer your question but it would be worth discussing with your consultant or physio if you can (if you haven't already)? I do however wish you the very best of luck! Take care.
