Hi, I’m new here and currently doing C25K . Just did W4R2 this morning. Was hard today as I had to have 2 days off as it was chucking it down yesterday! I’m loving the app tho - If you’d said you me a year ago I’d be running for 16 minutes I would have laughed my head off! I really am not the running type but now I’ve discovered this app I’m really enjoying it.
I find it’s so good for my mental state too. Lockdown has wiped out my income so it’s been hard to stay positive but C25K certainly helps.
I have Jo Whiley as my coach and as she says, ‘the feeling you get from completing each session far outweighs the pain involved to get there!’
I really hope I can stick at it and see it to completion. Certainly gonna do my best.

Hiya, welcome to the forum. I find this invaluable for asking questions, getting inspiration from others and hopefully helping each other stay motivated. I love posting and reading others posts, always makes me smile!. Keep going, you'll love it when you graduate!! ,🏃♀️😁
It really is a good program to follow and really does work. Well done for your achievements so far the feeling when you graduate it truly amazing. 🏃♀️😄
Welcome! Sounds like you’re doing great 😃 I can only imagine the surge in people participating in the programme due to lockdown/Covid. I lost my job and running is proving to be really positive for my mental health. The motivation and support you get in the forum is pretty magical too. After Week 5 you’ll be more than halfway to graduation! 🙌🏼 Keep it up! 😊
That’s what I keep telling myself. I’m so determined to see it through for the sense of achievement. Thank you for commenting - it’s really encouraging
Exactly 😊 Think of your determination on the days when your motivation dwindles. We all have off days. Just take your time, keep faith in yourself and check in with us, your fellow running crew when you have questions/doubts. Many of us post after every single run, it really boosts your sense of achievement each time 🥰✨Plus it’s wonderful to experience other people’s progress as well as your own 🌟
I completed W4R2 earlier today too. I found it hard and really had to push myself to keep going, especially in the final run. But we've come this far so i'm sure it will continue! We can do this
Ah good to know someone else is at the same point. It was hard for me too this morning, especially the final 5 minutes but I’m so glad I persevered. Thank you for commenting - it’s been so lovely to read all these tonight. 😊
No problem running/jogging has never been something I have been able to do, so I still can't believe I actually to do 5 minutes! Let us know how your W4R3 goes
