1:-drink plenty of water, keep hydrated

2:-next time you run, run a little slower.

Not exactly sure how to to avoid shin pain, if it persists, seek official medical help.

Follow the advice in the guide to the plan on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Warm the area beforehand, you could use wintergreen or deep heat. Ice it after the run. If not too painful massage the area to speed up the healing. I have no medical training but these things worked for me.

Take it easy and don't go too fast. If things don't improve then do seek professional medical advice.

Good running shoes are important and help prevent shin pain. Keep going! You can do it!

Plenty of water and stretches before and after run. I found snail pace jog at first to get my legs used to doing running. Im on W6R1 and it's worked for me so far. I hope this helps.
