Just before I graduated I treated myself to some ASICS gel running trainers, I find then really comfortable for around 20 minutes, but then my feet start to burn, I’ve tried thick running socks, thin running sock, ordinary socks. The best ones are ordinary sock, but I still get the burning. Tried my old trainers this morning my feet didn’t burn in them but, it did make me appreciate that the Asics are much better for me. Any suggestions to stop my feet burning?

How about putting your feet in a cold dish of water after you finish doing your stretches.

If your old shoes don’t give you the burning sensation then I would think it’s more likely the new shoes rather than your feet: poor circulation, nerve damage etc.
I googled a bit and a cause might be increased friction with the new pair and a suggestion is dusting the feet with talc to reduce friction.
Another cause may be they’re a bit too tight, or tighter because they’re new and the old pair had stretched over time. Assuming they’re both the same size.
If you bought them from a runners’ shop, I’d go back and see what they say about it.
