Feet hurts

I completed my first week and starting week 2 tomorrow. I’m after some advice my feet actually kill whilst running. Any good advice on insoles maybe?

I am overweight and got extremely flat feet but I got a decent pair or running shoes (Asics)

Thank you for your help

Hi! Sorry to hear your feet are killing! It sounds like you have the right shoes which is really important. Maybe try running on a softer surface? Concrete pavement is the most unforgiving to run on. Tarmac is better, sandy paths even more so, and grass is lovely! But having said that running on grass can get quite tiring for your legs so maybe not all the way.

Hopefully as you get stronger your feet will hurt less too. Good luck!

Hiya, I’ve treated myself to two pair of running shoes, one pair being Asics too, lovely shoes, but I wear my thicker socks when I wear them and it really helps me.😀

Thank you
