Well I eventually did the last run of week 4 and it turned out to be a nightmare of wrong clothing, digital gremlins and heat!!! But with Jo in my head repeating her I love running mantra I did manage to get to the end of my run.
I am finding that if I keep just 1 day between runs I manage them better but the 2 day break seems to sap me of all motivation and energy???
I am truly glad I’m following this app but I’m truly scared of week 5 hahahaha. I am starting on Sunday and I’m going to try to keep just the one day thing going for the rest of the week. Good luck everyone and happy holiday weekend. 👍🤞🏻🎉🌈

It’s all the mind. Your body can do this, you just need the mind to get into gear. I really looked forward to run 3 of week 5 - so proud of myself today for running 20 mins. You will be this person next week. You’ve got this. 😃
Don’t be apprehensive about Week 5 - your mind may be saying ‘I’m not quite ready’ but you’re going to be pleasantly surprised when your body says “shut up! I’ve got this”. You can do it 😊
I’m the opposite, I find the run easiest when i’ve had two days to rest the legs haha!
Week 4 is tough and a big jump from Week 3 so congratulations - you should be really proud! Week 5 really isn’t as scary as it looks, and you will be prepared for the 20 minute run at the end as long as you take it slow and pace yourself! Good luck!
Well done you on nailing that last run of week 4. I struggled with the first one but found the last two easier. Swings and roundabouts and different for everyone. The key is to do what works for you. Xx 💪👍🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Well done for pushing through despite the problems. So many of us fear week 5 but don't - you are ready for it.
Like you I find my motivation lower if I have a 2 day break so have been preferring to do alternate days, but after the 20 min run at the end of week 5 my legs were a little stiff for the first time so that extra day's rest was needed. Your body will guide you.
The guidance from the app, be it Jo or my favourite Laura has been key for me... and dipping into this lovely forum. Trusting that there is a science behind the plan I’ve managed to put my self doubt in a box. On a run day my job is to show up and listen to Laura! Looking forward to hearing about your 20 min run next week. You will do! 👏💚
