Big step!

Omg, I've just joined the gym!

This is a mahoooosive step for me. I've always seen gyms as places for the beautiful bodies and body builders...

But I've decided to put that thought out of my head and go for it, I'm not going to let it scare me, cos remember, they all started just like me!

I shall put my music on and block them out.

Yay me!

This to help me get stronger,

Cross trainer, bike.. and yes, I will be getting advise from the guys there before I begin.

I do miss the Gym i just don't get the time and they are really expensive where i live. But great that you joined one, You'll love it and in my experience people are friendly and just focus on their own training and don't notice anyone else.

Congratulations on joining a gym, you will get a induction when you get there, I think the trainer takes you around it showing you all the equipment and that includes the dreaded treadmills which you may use for your running, good luck. 👍 🏃🏾

I'm well jealous!! No gyms are open around me, I'm having to wait for the local leisure centre to open again so I can join up

Oh dear! Well hopefully the centre will open again soon and you can get back! 🤞🤞

Good luck Lizzie!

I was really worried when I joined the gym - that everyone would be body beautiful and would judge me! However, it really does not matter - everyone is so focused on doing their own thing that they don't notice or care. When I am at the gym I am so busy that I don't even think about other people - and at least you're doing something about it. The trainers at the gym are amazing and rally helpful.

Thank you..

that's exactly how I feel/felt, still a bit unsure, but... i knew that if i didn't actually sign up I wouldn't do it! But I have, now I just need to go!

My husband is at the same gym, but having bother with his hip, so isn't going at the moment... so i need to get a grip and just go.. 🙄🥺

I have to admit,I am a little anxious... easy to sign up but harder to take the first step!

Omg I'm waffling!! I'll shut up now.

I joined puregym a year ago when i was 9st overweight and i have to tell you that no one even notices!! People are busy concentrating on their own thing. I even started doing the classes after a couple of weeks when i got a bit more confident.

The equipment is really easy to use, although i am still to run on the treadmill as i only used to walk on it. Now i have graduated and winter is coming, i may have to learn.

I have really missed it over these last few months, cant wait to go back but fear i may not be able to fit everything in :)

Wow!! Well done! That's amazing!!

Yeah I've looking at the classes.. quite like the look of the bike.. or "spin" class.. once I've got used to going!

My mate is also signing up, so we'll go together.

Thanks xx
