WK9 R3 done πŸ˜€

I am so chuffed that I have finally completed the C25K challenge, I’m a little off running the 5k in 30 minutes yet but I’m not far off (4.3k)

I started it as a challenge to myself, and although I wasn’t a complete couch potato, I am 57 and had generally kept myself fit over the last few years with Swimming and Zumba, I haven’t done any sort of long distance running in my life.

I am absolutely certain if I carry on running it will help control my Type 2 Diabetes, and although not hugely overweight, I have lost 10lbs during these last few weeks.

This is my first post on here but I have been inspired and encouraged by all the posts I have read. Now to try and keep the momentum going πŸ˜ƒ

Congratulations, 4.3k is the average distance of people graduating from C25K, well done on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K πŸŽ“ πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE πŸŽ“ next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked August C25K graduation home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated πŸŽ“ πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘

Now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement with 🍷 πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘ πŸŽ“
