Do I need to start from week one again?

I was due to start week 5 but haven't been able to run at all this week due to feeling unwell .do I need to restart the programme ?

No, you’ll be fine. Sometimes I miss maybe 5-6 days and just pick up where I left off.

No, there is absolutely no need to re start the program,

I'm sure you will just be able to carry on where you left off.

I had 16 days off through injury after week 8 run 1 and was able to carry on !

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

As it states in the guide, you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running, so pick up where you left off.
