Hi. I managed w6r2 then had to stop for six weeks. Does anyone have any advice as to how far back it might be sensible for me to go as I resume the running?
I am 51, diabetic, 18.5 stone.

Hi - i was in the same boat - got to week 7, then broken 2 ribs playing football.
Had 6 weeks off, and have pretty much started again, feels slightly easier, but not enough to skip a few weeks.
Only you can answer that one. Go out and have a go. See how long you can run for. Use that as you starting point. If you find you can manage 20 mins then pick up where you left off. If you are hanging out after 90 seconds, start at W2.
Step out, slowly and see... you will soon know whether you feel you need to retrace some steps...
Try a little jogette and just see how you feel... then you will be in a better position to know where to go from here..
See Oldfloss does it again - a jogette who knew they even existed. Sounds great advice to me, wherever you re-start good luck with it
I have to say..not one of mine, sadly... I wish...but that is the invention of Her Majesty Irishprincess ... she coined that phrase and it is so apt, when we first totter out ( me) after enforced IC rest or suchlike.
She has wonderful expressions and writes simply amazing posts...ask her about the axe murderers !!!
She truly is one of our awesomely inspiring friends on the forum !
Ok kudos to Irishprincess then, I think she has inspired me previously. So if I never said it before then I say it now thanks Irish princess.
