Morning π. Had decided to try a longer slower run on a weekend So this morning I followed NRC 6K Guided Run.
Kept it at a very steady slower pace with my breathing really quite easy and just kept it going, quite happy, even managed a chat to a lady walking her dog (almost at same speed I was running). Anyway, reached 6K and was rather pleased with myself and wasnβt even so out of breath!
Not 5K I know, but hope it counts πββοΈ

5k with bonus 1k afterwards definitely counts! I do like finding that zone where I feel I could go on forever because I'm taking it nice and steadily. I'm very tempted to try a 6k but am trying to be good and do proper consolidation for a few weeks before giving JuJu's plan a try.
Itβs def a good plan to consolidate for a few weeks. Iβm going to try JuJus Plan too, wasnβt sure whether time or distance, hence the 6k which has confirmed it for me. My only thought is the further you go, you run out of route and the longer it takes to complete! Happy running πββοΈ π
