It’s amazing how we’ll slowing down works isn’t it? I was pelting it out the door like a bloody seasoned runner in the first few weeks and then burning out quickly, gasping for air, ridiculous lol x nice and slow and get those endurance miles under your belt, I’m a slow jogger now on week 9 from Thursday but I’m running for28 mins all in one go and that’s a hell of an achievement in my opinion x you like your ealier morning runs too eh? I always try to be out with the birdies to watch the sun rise! Fab

Wow you’re doing amazing! I try not to think of the week ahead getting any harder as it will put me off 🤣 but I’ve already surprised myself so far - well my body has so I should have more faith in it really 🤗

The programme is faultless, it’s just is that need to follow it to the letter to get where we will be on graduation. I was housebound first 2 years with IBD, had major surgery last dec and now I am nearly a c25k grad. The programme works, just trust it and slow down and don’t worry about pace and silly things like that I’m not, it would be nice to actually get fast and cover the whole

5k( nowhere near on my runs, more like 3k) but the be all and end all for me is to run! And be fit! Even though I’m ever so slightly fat! Haha xxx

Wow you have done really well! I’m like you I don’t care how far or how fast - just happy to be doing it and not sat on the sofa xx

I did feel it today. My husband normally runs with me... he’s a seasoned “patient” runner, he didn’t sleep well so I went on my own for the first time. Glad I completed it without his encouragement... we can do it 😊👍🏻

Ditto, W3 R2 and did feel the last run, and as you slowed down, felt like I was running on the spot 🤣. Well done

Me too - same run W3R2. Legs felt like lead to begin with so slowed right down and all good. Kept thinking slow slow and the Japanese slow running technique really helps 🤗🤗🤗

Did W3R1 at tge gym as it was raining heavily, yesterday, the 3 min run is a step up but as you say slow it down and its more manageable. Will do R2 tomorrow, then R3 on Sunday, along the beach I hope, as were off to the coast..
