Tomorrow is the Halloween party at my gym/spa. So thinking I will not excercise much tomorrow. So I did the week 3 , run 2 today. I know I should of rested . My back hurts a little bit. But I am so happy I managed it. Treated myself to a massage reward.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone else’s successes for this run:)

I know you can do it .

That's dedication for you!

I really felt I needed two days rest after week1

But I'm hoping that's just because my body is in complete shock 😆.

Hoping to be able to move between wk2 and wk3 with just 1 day rest, but we'll see.

You've got the bug. Good for you :-)

It’s not a bad bug to catch. I’m the sharing sort. Offers bugs all round

I've been bitten and in the incubation period.

I'll find out soon if I'm fully infected 😆

You know what they say, when one member of the family gets the bug. Sooner or later so does everyone else. Giggles, your poor wife!

Well done and enjoy the massage, I’m sure it will help 😁

Well done on the run, but have you linked the fact that you have back ache with the fact that you missed a rest day?

We can all do more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increased risk of injury, which if it strikes can quash all your enthusiasm and stop you in your tracks for days, weeks or even months.

We only offer this advice based on experience and the general received wisdom.

Please take care.

You could be right. I think it is from my fall though. It’s been a little sore since then
