Week 2 Run 3 done...

Hey ladies & gents!

Well after my horrendous weekend & not being able to run since Friday, I've just completed the last run of week 2.

I was real tired this morning when I opened my eyes. My intention was to have a lay in and then run later on but the moment running came in to my mind, I started to get butterflies and so you know I wouldn't be able to sleep any further.

So got up, charged phone, drank some water, ate a banana and made my way over the the field where I run.

Even though I completed the last run of week 2, I feel that because I wasn't able to run since Friday, my run today wasn't as I would've liked it to be.

Never mind, I'll be trying my hardest in the future not to let 4 days lapse in between runs. Easier said then done sometimes but those 4 days to me pushed me back a couple baby steps.

Anyway on to Week 3 on Thursday. Had a peak at it & I can't remember the last time that I ran for 3 mins non stop. (Oh yeah back in the 90's when I was a teenager). Lol. It's a challenge but no doubt I will succeed. I don't intend to fail at this but if I can't manage the 3 minutes, believe me when I say I will try and try again until it's done.

Really am loving this programme. Roll on Thursday & Week 3! ☺

That's great donna glad you did it I'm one run behind you keep going x

So we are jointly named and famed and not shamed. Well done you, you got out there as promised. My morning didn't quite go to plan, but I did go out and thought of you, getting Week 2 out of your system...

I did mine earlier on and got my milestone done.. I write it up on my blog jancanrun.com - you appear on it but un-named... If you want me to give you credit, just say so and I'll put your name in!

Well done you - Week 3 awaits

Well done to you too and I have no problem with you using my name. Your blogs are brilliant.

Okay you're in. Thanks for the compliment. I didn't want to name you unless you're happy! When you running next? Me Thursday.....

in reply to

I fully understand and that was the right thing to do. Yep Thursday for me too. I do however go out walking everyday. Walk between 5 -8 miles everyday. Sometimes more.

Blimey oh Riley, I feel a walking challenge coming on... go easy on me I am old and live in hills. It's official you're in and named and famed and in character list....

Great Job!!! I did the first run of Week 3 yesterday, and honestly I did much better with it than I did with week 2... i think the constant jogging was better than the stops and starts every 1.5 minutes!
