My first 5k! Didn’t record the warm up or cool down. This was consolidation 8 for me. I’m 5ft nothing (and that’s stretching it a bit) so I have no right be frustrated at 22 minutes in and nowhere near 5k but there I was. Cue a conversation in my head about how the only person I can compare myself to is myself and I decided I’d push through - following the 10% rule I could technically run for 36 minutes but dammit that arrived and I still wasn’t there. But I gave into the frustration and broke the rules a wee bit and I’m so flippin happy I can’t tell you.
Now I know I can do it I’ll try not to be so hard on myself. Back to enjoying the runs and looking forward to joining Ju-Ju’s magic plan in September. Honestly, I’m so happy and pleased with myself and so grateful for this virtual encouragement. I would probably have sat in the 30 minute zone for ages waiting for the impossible to happen and grumbling about it. To think what a challenge I found the first 90 second run to be. This programme is great!

No, you have not embarrassed me whatsoever, those profiles are there for people to look at, many don't have their proper name on their profile page for "security reasons" others like me do have their proper name because they are not too concerned about that because there are hundreds of people who have the same name, but never put your address or e mail on your profile.
