I got to week 3 run 2 and then stopped due to the heat and being on holiday. 3 weeks since I ran. Should I start from the beginning again? Had no issues with week 3. Thanks

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
As stated in the guide to the plan, you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
After that loss of condition is gradual.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.

I thought about this - what if, my own mind set would be - for every 2 weeks I had off, I would go back 1 week on the program. 1 week I would go back 2 runs on the previous week.
This is of course what I would do - guess everyone is different. I am feeling the benefit of doing the plan, but I totally get that there will be times when the run does not happen.
