Roll on W3

Yeah I did it, even though I was really not that enthusiastic about going out this morning, W2R3 in the bag. Its been a hard week! Sterncleidomastid muscle went into such a painful spasm on Tuesday that I conteplated a visit to Madame La Guillotine. Didn't miss Wednesday or Friday's run though and it has almost gone and is 100s of times more bearable that it was, but now to add to the fun I have intercostal muscle aches/pains eminating from T6/T7 which are known to a little worse for wear, shall we say. On top of all that I have skippered a 7m launch for several hours each of Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as moving two van loads, including tred mill, surf out of my shed yesterday AM.

So my head was saying I really don't want to run this morning but so glad I did! I felt good and even manged to put in a little sprint at the end of the 6th 90 secs. Managed to get a couple of good clunks out of my back when I stretched out at the end. Hopefully that will release those inter costals.

Christ Rea Daytona, Police De Doo Doo Da, Deep Purple, Demons Eye, INXS Devil Inside, Travelling Wilbury's Dirty World , Steropphonics A Minute Longer, AC/DC Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep

Really enjoying reconnecting to my music, which I haven't taken the time to listen to over the past few years, and also using the shuffle to excercise my brain by remembering what has been played on the run.

Roll on Tuesday--Running for 3 minutes at a time --Eek, I am sure that it won't be a bother.

Well done for getting out there, I had my first ‘non-enthusiastic‘ day but battled on too. You always feel better for it once it’s done hey :)

Music is everything to me - couldn’t go a day without it. Loving hearing what everyone else is listening to. Stereophonics A Minute Longer - how apt!

Don’t worry about W3R1, you’ll barely notice the difference, there’s still some 90s runs to keep you from keeling over!

Oh and was it humid out there, absolutely dripping. Came in, had my shower, went downstairs and then had to back up to the shower for 5mins, with it on cold

Ha ha! I’m a big fan of contrast showers as they’re great for circulation. I’ve only just discovered that they’re particularly good post-workout as they relax and reduce muscle soreness 👌🏼

Re Stereo's saw them almost 19 years ago at the Millenium (now Principality) Stadium when my wife (who is Stereos mad) was about 6 weeks from popping out our lad. He still loves them :-). Saw them a couple of years later @ Exeter with the Subways on the bill, I really like them. Back in the day Kelly seemed to slur everything but he seems to have learnt annuciation since.

Oh that’s a shame, his drawl was perfect! I used to be a diehard fan too. Not so much after Just Enough Education but Word Gets Around barely left my CD player! I’d still swoon if I saw them live again though.
