Week 9 Run2

Oh dear...that was the worst run yet!!!

If it had been my first run, then it probably would have been my last!

The humidity...91% but I didn’t know until I got back and this was at 6.50am...

It felt like I was being held back...just awful!

Sorry to moan, it’s just pure disappointment as nothing has ever felt like that.

Hey Ho! I did 30 mins and 4K so I shouldn’t really grumble onward and upward. 😂🤣🙃😊

Your worst run ? 4k in 30 minutes !!!

that was my graduation run distance , well 3.9k actually 😐

i know what you mean about the heat though!

but to complete it in that humidity was an achievement, certainly nothing to be disappointed with ! 👍

Thank you. I can’t manage the heat at the best of times but knew it wasn’t right today...then i started feeling my age!

Hey Ho we have got this far...

Run 3 here we come!

Thanks again 😊

Feeling your age? I wish I was 21 again too. 🤪

You’re not in your 70th year though are you nowster?😂🤣😂🤣

Just a thought, we can’t turn back the clock but look what we are doing...we are doing something to improve ourselves and this is great!!! 😊

I've noticed that I'm not running anywhere nearly as fast these hot mornings. The heat saps your energy. Don't sweat it. 🤪

You did it, despite the adverse conditions! That is a triumph, but you just didn't enjoy it, that's all.

I remember a couple of runs I really didn't enjoy in the later stages of the programme.

Your next run will feel different I'm sure.

in reply toRoxdog

Thank you Roxdog, just didn’t expect it I suppose...thank you, I think if wasn’t folk like yourself we would just give up! So many thanks again 😊

W9R2 for me tomorrow morning. It doesn't look any better for me either.

R1 was hard enough and I'm sure to be in bed getting anxious battling the heat...

in reply toNotAthletic

We’ve both been there now! so the next one we just have to go for it...All the best !

You’ve no need to feel disappointed chrissie589, considering the heat and humidity which dramatically affects the air quality that’s an impressive performance, which shows both physical and mental strength to get through it 👊 chin up you’ve done great and graduation is in sight 🏅👀
