Thank you bra ladies!! Can you be my shoe ladies now

β€’6 Replies

πŸ‘‹ Hi and thanks to all the ladies who gave me bra advice.

W5R1 in my new super bolder knocker holder. (My name for my shock absorber bra).

I managed to kick up my running pace today to 160bpm without any discomfort upstairs YAY πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

I suppose my next ask will be the best running shoes. My 1974 era green flash tennies don't seem to cut the mustard anymore. Only joking; but my 10 year old NBs dug out of the back of the wardrobe during lockdown might need an update for W6 and beyond.

Problem for shoes is I'm a size 9 and men's running shoes are too wide now. So any suggestions please.

Thanks again you lovely ladies

Keep on running

When you buy a new pair of shoes it’s traditional to post a pic πŸ˜‰ πŸ‘Ÿ

I’ve just bought a pair of Saucony Kinvara 10s down to Β£60. My NB had holes in the toes! I like them as they are light. I’ve a neutral gait so it does mean I have a few more to choose from, but I do have wide feet too (size 6)

It's best to get a gait analysis done. I have Brookes, which I love, but everyone is different.

Well done on getting this far. I might have to take a look at your bra post πŸ˜‚.

I would definitely recommend getting a gait analysis. I didn't the first time I bought new trainers and regretted it as I then got an injury soon after graduating for the first time and was out for months.

I went to a lovely independent running shop and ended up with Brookes. I nearly had a heart attack at the price but they have been absolutely worth it. No injuries and a really comfortable run.

Happy running πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Yep - go to an independent shop and find shoes that are right for you. Just like a sports bra what is right for me might not be right for you. Although shock absorber ultimate run bras are fab!

OMG I've a pair of Jimmy Choos that didn't cost as much as a pair of Brooks shoes.

Well I'm fibbing about that; but my poor plastic is already hammered from new bras tops and leggings.

I guess running shoes should be function over fashion.

Looks like I need to get my gait sorted first. (I thought it just needed a coat of paint and the hinges oiled!!! Who knew) πŸ˜€
