Hey everyone I just finished week 7 and am super excited for week 8, probably be on Monday as my daughter has her surgery this morning š±and will be staying with her in the Heath on sat x I just wondered how much of a step up is week 8? I showed down this morning at the start of the run, had a longer warm up walk too, and still ran at exactly the same pace (weird I know) and I think I only had about two mins or so left in the tank? Iām wondering how much harder it is next week
Fantastic! Congrats on completing week 7! I have no doubt whatsoever that you will be absolutely fine with week 8.
A nervous day ahead for you, never easy waiting for a loved one when they are in surgery. I hope the time passes quickly for you.... just rerun your success today in your head, to get the endorphins going.
Firstly, well done! And...me too! Onwards to W8...doing it together in spirit if not in reality.
Secondly, best wishes for your daughter, and you! Not easy, you worry so much for your kids. Mine are all grown up, oldest in his late thrirties now but all four of them are still my babies.
W8 is only, I think, 28 minutes? As long as we keep it slow I'm sure we will be fine. I'm going much slower now for the longer runs, don't want to kill myself.
Yes we are the same place we should graduate the same time depending on our knees and rest days etc lol x I have been reading up on the Maf method and running slower to build up endurance and itās basically what this plan is making us do anyway with the build up but the MAF method is the dream! Low HeartRate and strong legs x Is it only 28 is it? I thought 30 for some reason? Oh well thatās not too bad then we got this! X
