Hi,
Just finished W3.
Am determined to do W4 but think it’s going to take me a bit of time to achieve it.
Looking for anyone who struggled with it and overcame to cheer me on.
Thank you,

We all cheer each other on, congratulations on completing week 3 of C25K, onwards to week 4 which you can repeat if you want to, any runner can repeat as many runs or week's if they wish to.
You are already talking negatively, why? You've been successful so far.
I'm starting week 5 tomorrow so I know exactly how week 4 feels. I felt as if I wouldn't be able to cope with the extra time, 5 minutes 😳 thats a ridiculously long time!! The second 5 minute of run 1 hurt but I was determined not to stop. Run 2 and 3 I managed because I knew I could, I'd already proved that with run 1
I post on here as soon as I'm done and the feed back and positivity is awesome, it helps to cement the happiness and pride.
A positive mindset when you walk out the door can help carry you a long way. The feeling when you finish and post on here. It may well be hard, but you know that which only magnifies the sense of achievement when you've done it
I read on here the other day "dont rob yourself of the joy of completing the run without giving it a go"
I'm nervous about starting week 5 so I'm going to keep that quote in my head
Good luck 😊
Thank you. I can’t wait to post that I’ve done it!
Your doing great so far. Trust the plan it works. Each run and each week prepares you for the next. Go slow and you'll crush wk4
The first two runs of Week 4 were fine for me. Hard work but no worse than previous weeks. The third was hell as a consequence of the weather.
I'd planned to run in the morning, waiting for a window between torrential downpours which didn't happen until lunchtime. As a result I ate late and when a gap in the rain did occur, it was probably too soon after I'd eaten. As a result I wasn't running at my preferred time and my stomach hadn't finished processing what turned out to be brunch. I probably hasn't drunk enough in the morning either.
I did complete that run, however. I start week 6 tomorrow.
Thank you and congratulations on what you’ve achieved, S
Oh we pretty much all struggled a bit here and there. Don't worry, just keep it slow and keep going. If you are managing the runs, then you are progressing and doing great!
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.

Relax and enjoy it, don't make a battle of it.
My husband and I have been doing C25k for about 8/9 weeks and just started our W4R1 yesterday. We repeat a week when one of us doesn’t feel ready to go onto the next week, or (as in my case) a vampire-sucking knat bit me and my leg got infected. The main thing is you’re running, getting that all important exercise. I think we ended up doing W3 3 times in the end!
Hey hi from us, I hated week 4 but struggled through loved week 5 and can now run for over an hour non stop
That is absolutely incredible. Masses of well done and thank you.
