Week 9, run 1 with my boy

I thoroughly enjoyed today's run! I have had a tough last few runs with really heavy legs and feeling really lethargic.

My 8 year old has been asking to come with me for weeks but I was using this as my only me time since March!

Today however, I wasn't expecting great things so if it didn't go well I was just not going to plot it and rerun another time. But it taught me that this is what I can do after this week... some runs for me, some gentle, some timed and some time with my kids where I'd never have been fit enough to run alongside a bike for 30 minutes before! I even had to jog on spot and wait for him on some of the hills.

This is my first run where I'm excited to see where running takes me and it's not all about distance and pace.
