It all started off very bizarely.

Just as i was leaving my house, my neighbour came out of her front door and told me she had noticed i had started going running.. she invited me into her house and said she wanted to show me something before i set off- about 100 medals from all kids of races! 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, full marathons... what a coincidence! I told her all about c25k and she offered to let me use her garmin! So kind!!:) so off i went with the garmin and completed the full 30 mins!!!i felt so good infact that i carried on a further 6 minutes!!!

When i stopped i was very dissapointed to notice i had only covered 3(.something)K.. however when i gave the garmin back, she and her marathon-running husband told me it was set to record MILAGE! And so not only did i complete week 9 run 1 but i also managed to complete 5k in around 31 minutes! YAY!!

Sooo happy. Right from the off i felt positive and fell straight away into a comfortable pace and regular breathing. And those of you who have read my other topics will see i NEVER get to experience these kinds of runs usually hehe.

How fantastic that sounds like a great run. Well done! Sounds like your neighbour must be famous with all that bling

First time I've seen you and IT post in sequence. Your photos are disturbingly similar. Could you possibly be related?

Sounds great. Keep that positive attitude. Take it steady though ....... don't want to end up on the IC. Good look - not long now until you graduate :)

fantastic. That must be a wonderful feeling. 31 minutes is brilliant. Just one more training run then the graduation run. Do you have a parkrun anywhere near?

Fantastic! just 2 to go before you get the Brillo out for your graduation badge.

Nice one. The caretaker who tidies our estate stopped me once to tell me how he used to run to Aldgate every Saturday when he was younger. Running is the starting point for a lot of great stories :) Good luck for the next 2 runs :)
