Amazed myself! Ran with the running club I've joined this evening - was brilliant , well structured and supported. We ran 6.1 k much to my surprise, and even more surprising did it in 52.19 minutes. Wasn't non stop, we ran, we walked, we stopped to get our breath back and it was good, it was social. Can't believe I did that, 11 weeks ago it was a struggle to run for 60seconds. Hooray for C25K.
Parkrun on Saturday then back to more gentle consolidation runs for me till the next club run!
Loving it π

Wow well done! You are amazing πLoving the thought of longer runs with walk breaks if needed. I deffo need to plan how to incorporate this into my runs. Sounds like it was heaps of fun! π
Was fun, so much support. I was always trailing behind, but the more seasoned runners would come back and support me - would have been lost otherwise π
The club is good, in fact they organised the C25K I did, running with them once a week, then the other 2 runs we did as individuals. So now they're supporting us newbies and encouraging us on. Good stuff, and fun! Difficult to keep I though, they're a lot younger!!
