Happy Sunday runners. Wherever you are on your journey have a great day
The sun was shining when we got up but clouds drifted over so we thought we had better go in case it started to rain. Willow is wary of rain 😂
The park wasn’t too busy as we set off, 1k done and i decided to do some 30 20 10 so jogged for a count of 30 ran a bit faster for a count of 20 and sprinted for 10 I did that a few times and realised i was wearing myself out so settled in for an easy finish, Willow peeled off at around 3k and i plodded on, past the sewage plant where i had to sprint and back through the park near the lake
It wasn’t fast I dripped my way to the car and home for a large glass of water then tea
I love 💓 to run and I love this forum where i can keep a record of what we’ve done
And I can never upload a photo at the weekend

Nice run for you today round the park, so you did the 30,20,10 jog, well done, I like the way you say that "I dripped my way to the car", this forum is a very good place for you to keep a record of where and what you have ran.
This morning I went at 17K bike ride after yesterday's 5K (not) parkrun.
Thanks Al, yesterday i worked my sixth day in a row and worked a straight 10 hours, during that time i had 3 cups of tea 1 piece of nicotine gum and nothing to eat, by the end of it if anyone had said COSSH or health and safety I would have completely lost it and thrown my files at them, maybe another piece of gum would have been a good idea, but i finished it and it felt good
Your day sounds more fun than mine, being health and safety officer sucks but at least now it’s all up to date and in order
I know it sounds pathetic but i didn’t have time, i had files and papers spread all over the office and if i’d left them to get food i would more than likely have lost the thread of organised chaos and had to start again, the reward was today is a welcome day off
Well done ... was that dripping with sweat or did the rain Willow dreads make an unwelcome appearance? ... and of course a cup of tea is the perfect reward after a run !
